Other simple and fun activities that can be used in your weight loss programs include swimming, taking your pet out for a jog or walk, dancing, using stairs instead of the elevator and also driving your car less in distances where you can handle the walk comfortably. Lose Weight By knowing Your Body Mass Index?

This is a question, I am asking. I have no idea. But I think knowing your body mass would help you set a weight number to which you should lose weight to.

What is a Body Mass Index (BMI)? The body mass index is the method which you calculate if your weight is healthy or not. It is calculated by knowing your weight and height data. It is calculated by dividing your weight in Kg by your height in metres.

This is what the calculated value corresponds in the BMI. This would help you determine if you are healthy or not.

If your BMI is 19 – 24.9, you are healthy,

If your BMI is 25 to 29.9, you are overweight and you need to reduce.

If your MBI is above 30, you are obese. And it can lead to heart diseases and other things

The question, how to lose weight with BMI has been answered. Your BMI tells you when you are healthy or overweight.

Weight Loss Ads

You have probably seen those weightloss ads that guarantees that you would lose weight within a time period. Frankly speaking, those ads look truthful. I am saying this because, you would see the before and after pictures of a character. The ads mostly use female ads, because more women care about their weight than men.

I have watched some tricks about weightloss ads. I watched this on 20/20 (a t.v show series).  They were doing on myths or lies. I cannot remember which one.

They spoke about weightloss ads. They interviewed some characters. I cannot remember the question that was asked during the interview, but the characters said they were paid to gain weight. The characters didn’t go to the gym for some while. When they gain weight, they would take a photo of them. Then the characters would hit the gym and start working out. Then they would regain their normal well built bodies.

They would now take another picture of them showing the after effect of the product. This is very misleading. I thought these weight loss products would show you how to lose weight and not to mislead you.
